Ok we do not need to be drafting for depth at PG if we land in the top 5... Seriously look at Minnesota when they drafted PG's every year it really was a terrible idea. That said our biggest position of need is going to be SG followed by SF, but in terms of draft you take MPA in this situation as none of our guys except Lillard are locks to be anything more than a 6th man or borderline starter for their careers. Guys I am interested in for this team are Murray, Simmons, Brown and Bender. Not necessarily in that order.
That is a hedge because they don't know if he will come out. I know we give Zags a lot of crap in here but Sabonis will be a top 10 pick (but not necessarily top 5) easy if he comes out. http://www.nbadraft.net/2016mock_draft
I like Sabonis but he's going to have to develop his mid-range shot. He's a banger but his 6'10" wingspan will be a factor on the next level. 6'8.5"(ish) w/o shoes and a 6'10" wingspan
I imagine what he's packing and it's a big image. No humans, obviously, but could such a concession be made that he be allowed to mate with elephants and/or blue whales? An existence of a terrible sex life otherwise IYAM.
(Among other things) I don't think BGD understands that you can have the worst record in the league and still have a 75% chance that you won't get Ben Simmons.
Tom Brady and Aaron Rogers were diehard 49er fans, and the 49ers drafted Giovanni Carmazi and Alex Smith instead.
Hey Fez, what do you think of this kid? I think we should take him, look how he's shrinking, not many players grow in reverse. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Jamal-Murray-71441/
I will wait to see how Simmons does in college ball. Bender I am not that high on holds ball to long.
Player acquisition in soccer.... Let's send a couple of scouts to Argentina. Player acquisition in the NBA..... Let's hedge the fate of the entire franchise on some f-cking ping pong balls!
