I do think there should be a minimum number of games played to be considered. Injured players shouldn't be able to make the team.

If Kobe wasn't a douche, he'd sit it out and let a deserving player in in his place, but it's Kobe so that won't be happening.

I remembered when Vince Carter made the all-star team as a starter and didn't even play one game. There was an all-star snub (I can't remember the player) and many asked Vince if he would back out to allow the player in. Vince said no and that's when I started hating the guy

Well, I think Iverson made the team once without playing, didn't he?

Plus, Magic made the team after he retired.

I think the fans should be voting on witch players do the three pt shoot out, dunk contest, skills challenge and witch 3 players play the game of horse. Leave the game voting to the coaches. If the player honestly can not go then sub him for the next player that the fans voted for but the players should not be able to decide for themselves. This is supposed to be a night for the fans not the players. That would be much much more exciting to the fans! Hopefully Adam Silver sees things differently than David Stern did.

It is sad to see the state of NBA fan voting. MLB fans are usually pretty good but NBA fans are just dreadful.

Afflalo four highest scorer in the East at 21.6 also putting up 4 and 4 and has less than 32k votes terrible.
    Love 24-14-4 and fourth seriously
LA 23-10-2.7 and 8th come on

right now if Kobe played he would probably be bumping Westbrook off (Kobe, Paul, Parker, Curry, Harden make it). don't know if I mind that.

The voters don't vote based on production, they vote based on highlights and whoever their favorite player is. It's stupid.

I just want us to keep the #1 record at the all star break. Stotts deserves to coach it and OKC's coach would just play Westbrook and Durant for 30 minutes.

Another thing about the All Star game. Who ever wins the All Star Game (East or West) this should be who gets home court advantage in the NBA finals. Just my opinion.

Who coached the West last season? That coach can't coach this year.
