My point is that you don't need many votes to beat LeBron. He's beatable if we tried. And we'd beat everyone out west.

If only some could get Justin Bieber to instruct his twitter followers to vote for Blazers..

No (can I say shit?). Another snub. ESPN snubbed him in their rankings. And the guy just keeps killing teams with daggers and defense. I don't get it. The All-Star prestige is a such a joke more than half the time.

I understand your point too, though. You have to wonder if LMA is getting a bit tired of going through all of the AS stuff, only to be treated like a scrub during the actual game. It barely seems worth the effort to go to the game.

Exactly. Yeah. I wonder if (after the 1st ASG selection) they are like "God damn, I'm burned out. Then I sit on a bench instead of a beach." haha. Who knows, but it wouldn't be surprising.

Yeah. Wes should be in, but he's probably barely known outside of our fanbase and the other teams' announcers.

Its odd because being an allstar was a goal of his for so long, he finally gets it and now I think he's realized its not that big of a deal.

Tell that to the Blazers (or any other team) at contract renegotiation time.

More of an honor to be picked by the coaches.

    Completely and utterly agree.

Everyone outside of the actual player loves when the fans choose them, because they know they have a "brand" and will make lots of money.

But a player's pride loves when his peers vote them in, I'm sure.

The Hornets got 5 players on the list and we have 3... Why the fuck is Eric Gordon still on that list, he hasn't played a meaningful game in over 2 seasons.

Who picks the 60? Each team should have the same, 4. For every team with 3, there's a team with 5, a ridiculous number.

Wes is a huge snub here and Raymond Felton should have never made this list. Problem with the system is that they preordain these slots before anyone has played a game over the summer. The coaches ballots are meaningful but the fan vote is totally skewered. When Jeremy Lin, (no knock on him, he's way better than Felton) gets MJ vote tally's it becomes a joke. Curry not making it last season was ridiculous and LaMarcus always gets Allan Crabbe type minutes at the game. The Rockets could get anyone on their roster voted in with the Yao Ming connection...he's now the David Stern of China. I think rather than fans voting, former allstars should vote.

My voting is being split up Love on every ballot. LA and Durant on 85% of the others with 30% going out to Boogie Cousins nice season. Guards is a lot more jumbled. Paul leading with 40% of ballots, Thompson getting love on like 30%, Harden on like 20%, same with Ty Lawson, Lillard, Martin and Bledsoe getting the rest of the votes.

Lillard is doing well but his FG% is terrible so had to knock him down a little. How is everyone else voting?

I vote the three Blazers, Five Pacers, and Wesley as my write in. My other votes go to those I do not think have a chance. On my last ballot, it was Galinari and Vasquez.

It doesn't matter what the people in Portland do or don't do. None of these guys will ever get voted in by the fans.
