100%. Obviously Dame is a far far cry from Telfair, but the situation seems very similar.

He was asked how teams addressed the shooting with him, and what message he presented to them. Every team, he said, asked him about the shooting. “The message that I presented to them was, just, I saw a lesson learned,” Miller said Wednesday. “You just always have to be aware of your surroundings, and what you’re surrounded by. I feel like that night could have changed my career in less than a heartbeat. So, just always be aware of your surroundings.” I asked what he told teams about what happened that night. “Just what I’ve learned about the situation,” he said, going no further. Another reporter asked if he would do anything different that night. “Like I said, just be more aware of my surroundings, and what I’m surrounded by. I think that could have changed the whole night,” he said.

I asked what changes he’d made since then. “Most definitely,” he said. “Just always checking my surroundings, and surrounding myself with guys, that are just pro guys, that I want to be around.”

I did a deep dive on Scoot. Now, I'm feeling Scoot. I take it all back! Scoot or die!

That doesn't sound too appealing. I'd rather have Scoot or even roll the dice on Amen.

Trade up with Charlotte to land Scoot if need be.

Indeed. I actually am bigger on Scoot and Amen over Miller but am not selling Miller short (who I think will be 20ppg good, at minimum).

Unless Dame wants to stick around....Scoot, I think, would signal the moving of Lillard AND Ant.

Ant may be able to snatch OG or Orlando's pick, considering both teams need a young guard and are not looking for more forwards. That would be a good core to rebuild with - Scoot+Sharpe+OG/#6 pick+whoever the Blazers get in a Dame trade (ex. Ayton?).

Amen, similar-wise. If you watch the way he moves with and without the ball, he is far too talented to not succeed in the league. Maturity, leadership, IQ, playmaking, and defense will make up for lack of a jumpshot. There really hasn't been a guy in the league who demonstrates all those traits and a high vertical who isn't a star. I keep seeing comparisons to Iguodala and that's a good comparison. However, the Thompson twins are taller, lengthier, and more athletic. Therefore, I see them more like a Pippen/Giannis-lite...or a Ben Simmons that does not lack mental fortitude and WILL fearlessly attack anybody. All these comparisons I mention are good enough to play in the modern NBA so I would not hesitate with his shooting (especially if Ant-Sharpe can cover for him).

Ant-Sharpe-Amen is a good, athletic trio to build around. Again, if you can add Ayton or Claxton to that and draft Leonard Miller at #23, you might be able to secure a defensive front court right then and there.

Draft Zach Edey with the 2nd round pick, as well, to ensure the Blazers don't lack a quality back up center, in the future. Could end up being a better version of Kanter imo.

Scoot---Sharpe---Walker/Ausar/Hendricks/OG---Ayton/Claxton (with Edey off the bench)

    Ant---Sharpe---Amen---Ayton/Claxton (Edey off the bench)

That's a flexible and talented young roster to rebuild around. If you don't like it, you can always trade some of those players away because they demonstrate useful qualities that you can cite as "potential." For example, an Ayton will always be worth something...multiple picks. Ant...worth something to a team that needs a 20ppg guard. Defensive guys like Claxton or Thompson? Same thing.

the time of smoke, mirrors, bullshit, false leaks, and lies has started

you can't believe anything about the draft right now, can't believe any info on team intentions, nothing about how players are rated. None of it

the only thing you can believe is that the Spurs are taking Wemby.

Givony also said Miller is out of shape, and his interviews both publicly and privately have not been good.

This video of one game's highlights helps his value. And makes me pause about trading him.

He's going to be a great shooter. The question is, can he put the ball on the floor and create for himself? It seems he's in the Michael Porter Jr. league.

If he can't put the ball on the floor or attack the basket, I'd rather go for Scoot or Amen probably.

Well, we don't have to choose between Scoot and Miller.

Just like the Spurs we have the easiest draft decision.

What will LeMelo Ball think if Charlotte drafts Scoot Henderson, when they could have drafted Brandon Miller?
    Charlotte isn’t drafting Scoot Henderson.
