    When used in a comparison as was the case, is that incorrect? I'm a finance guy and language arts was never my strong suit. I'm legitimately asking.

    The first "than" was correct; the second "than" described sequence and should have been "then".

    Woj says its down to Dallas and Miami

    Like I said lets focus on Dwight Howard. Horford and Whiteside are not coming here. We need to focus on the doable gets.

    If the Woj tweet is true and Howard is legitimately interested in us the one advantage would be that it would make the sell the Howard a lot easier

    So Woj can look like hes wrong? lol stop it now we're just desperate for hope. Whiteside was never coming here. Horford too. Deep down we all knew this. Now its not over, we still have a shot at Howard. Hes not that bad to me I think Dame can lead him to change. I've always said Lillard is a great leader. With this market we have no shot at the big names and Whiteside is too much of a big name.

    Howard stock being so low right now I think we can get him. In fact we should show him we care by calling him first at 9:01pm tonight. Stop wasting our time with this Whiteside bs dream

    It's interesting that Howard is being talked about in 'less than max' offers like what Houston is throwing out there. @28M is a LOT even with the new cap. Add in the age, the passed team issues, etc, and I'm wondering if Portland would get him for a lower number since it is the 'years' he seems more interested in?

    yea if those comments are true, it would be great to see a nice low contract over more years. would also make it easier to move if things turn for the worst

    To be fair Woj says his as 9:01 approaches his focus is on Miami and Dallas. He met with Miami today and is apparently meeting with Dallas at 9:01 tonight. Doesn't really imply anything past that we are assuming. We could be assuming correctly though.
