I had those three on my list. Why I didn't have Maxwell or White is beyond me.

I thought of Tree, Cornbread, Paxson, and Kerr.....................

    totally skipped my mind.......................

I know of another semi-modern player that definitely should've gotten drafted..............

So what are the rules................can trades be made, can one drop players and add others????????

Mookie Blaylock, Jo Jo White, Sam Cassell, Elmore Smith, Latrell Spreewell, Ron Harper, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Kiki Vandeweghe, Rolondo Blackman, Cliff Robinson x2, Rik Smits, Sidney Wicks, Bill Cartwright, Terry Porter, Kevin Porter, Dale Ellis, Swen Nater, Danny Manning, Norm Van Lier. I have another 40 players that could have been taken.

That doesn't even include all the players from the 50s like Dolph Schayes (50 greatest!), Willie Naulls, Sam Jones, etc.

The star players today are not better than the ones from the 70s and 80s, they are just easier to pick because more people have watched them and they are fresher in our minds.

Spree was the guy I was talking about.........I thought of Sam I Am, Ron Harper (was sick before the injuries), Mookie, Smits, Dale Ellis (really wanted to get him, but I decided to go with another big up front), Cliff Robinson, KiKi and Porter also..................

completely forgot about danny manning.................another cursed clipper, lol........Danny was that dude back in the day.........

I think there were a shit load of talented offensive guys left on the board, but my team identity is built around hard nosed players, who play tough perimeter D......

2 more of the more "modern" players are Juwan Howard and Jerry Stackhouse......................also can't forget about Sam Perkins and Hersey Hawkins.............

    EDIT

this is kinda why I think we should expand the draft to 15 rounds...........there's so much damn talent still on the boards.........

    EDIT 2

by the way most of these guys we're listing are better than Vince Carter.......lmao...

    EDIT 3

Cedric Ceballos, Eddie Jones, Kenny Anderson, Nick Van Exel (if you like ballhogs), Jamal Mashburn before the injuries, Jim Jackson, Rolando Blackman, Calvin Murphy etc.

Calvin Murphy. I considered him. He's a HOFer and top 50 player all-time.

I already have a tiny guy in Tiny.

Sidney Wicks was on my list, but I went for Ben Wallace, Spencer Haywood, and Larry Nance as my backups for Wilt and Rodman.

I had most of those on my list actually, except for Ellis, Van Lier, Cartwright and Nater.

Why did I pick up my own Bruce Bowen in Round 11 instead of #7 like someone I know? :[

^^^because bruce bowen is one of the best perimeter defenders in NBA history, and a lineup of

    Harper
    Dumars
    Bowen / X Man
    Sampson
    Hakeem

    would give teams FITS defensively

.........he's something unique and rare..................................Vince is just another scorer who is soft.............lol

Anyway, Raja Bell is far from a Kobe Stopper, J_Ray. If you want to give him that nickname then I should also point out Kobe's averaged 33+ on him during his Phoenix tenure, with 57.5 True shooting percentage.

I'm not interested enough to continue this tangent. Hype up your team in your matchup thread.

I was referring to the close line :sigh: I just wanted a shooter to back-up my SG spot, so I chose Raja over Hornacek because of his D.
