what Magic and Steve Smith?? you stole the Mailman from me (my 2nd most favorite player ever) so we're even
I analyzed the match-ups much closer than you did though. All you did was say he averaged 55 wins and didn't win a trophy, whereas I gave a reason why. You did not bring up his individual failures aside from an amorphous reference. Taking that injury into account, there is nothing wrong with his production in the playoffs. Before that he averaged 24.04 PPG, 11.75 RPG, and 3.11 blocks per game on 56 TS% in the post-season. On to the next round of picks though...
Haha Dream, I found something that will annoy you. Robinson vs Hakeem throughout 42 head-to-head matchups: Robinson: 55.4 TS%, 19.6 PPG, 11.2 RPG, 3.3 BPG, Hakeem: 48.930 TS%, 21.9 PPG, 11.2 RPG, 3.4 BPG Similar except for the ownage Robinson has in efficiency. :] Source: basketballreference And Rodman was benched in Games 5/6 of that Houston playoff series due to a stupid off-court incident (The Spurs were 2-2 in the first four games).
CK said he would be busy in the next week or so. I asked Jfizzleraider to replace pegs and J_Ray to replace KC/CK Thanks guys.
LOL wasn't happening. I didn't think I would get him, but with ppl taking Lebron and his 5 years of experience and Pistol Pete... all I can say is thanks
no, but you picked him over a lot of other greats who were flat out better. And he did get dominated in that series.......He's admitted it in the past, and he even admitted at Hakeem's HOF induction......... yes I can. I recall dude shying away from the ball down the stretch, not taking it to the rack enough, relying on the jump shot too much, etc.....Like I said before he never really had that "great" of a post up game.....................Did you ever watch D Rob play in his prime???? I remember this series very well. Rodman still got his minutes.......Rodman still got beat..............................Houston was the better team, and Olajuwon was clearly the better player. yes the spurs used to play good against the rockets in the reg. season.........but when the bright lights were on in that series, Hakeem took his play to another level.............D Rob didn't.............it's blasphemy to mention Robinson in the same breath as Hakeem, and I'd even tell you that if I wasn't a Hakeem fan..........
damnit Celtic Fan I wanted Mo so bad................dude shouldn't have dropped that low..........You could make an argument that he should've been a top 10 selection................Mo > a lot of people that went before him..........
psstt it's CelticFan not Celtic King yeah when I said "Shit I'm not going to get my man" I was talking Moses all the way. 3 time MVP, one of the best in the paint Centers of all time. Screw versatile, this guy was a beast
LOL, my fault...I realized I had messed up...........I was thinkin of having him next to Dream................the thought of that is terrorizing.............
moreso than than Ralph Sampson never liked the way he played and of course I hated him after the 86 Finals
Lol stop picking on him. D-Rob is easily a top 5-10 defender at worst, He's a more complete player and Moses had his own playoff problems so why are you laying off him?
exactly what I was thinking.....I didn't want to mention, because I figured people would forget about him....Moses = underrated.............he's DEFINITELY a top 12 player of all time....since my all time top 11 has been selected I'll list them in no particular order 1. Magic 2. Jordan 3. Hakeem 4. Bird 5. Wilt 6. Oscar 7. Duncan 8. Shaq 9. Moses 10. Russell 11. Kareem All these guys got it covered as far as titles, stats, playoff performances, awards, achievements, etc. are concerned............you can talk "eras" and all of that, but there's no doubt in my mind that these are the best ever.....
