WTF, I know more then you about the Rockets. Moses Malone is overrated. He had 1 very mediocre season with the Rockets, and 1 great one, but besides the great one he didnt have any seasons better then Elvin did in 4 years. The Big E just dominated every year he was with the Rockets.
LMFAO!...Are you fcking kidding me? http://www.clutchfans.net/players/moses_malone/Thats too funny dude. And MOSES brought them to the FINALS. http://www.clutchfans.net/players/elvin_hayes/ ....Wow dude. Elvin didn't bring them anywhere in Houston but go to all-star games."I know more then you about the Rockets." Don't be so damn cocky.EDIT: Also...Look at this.Elvin's history with the Rockets with his good stats.1968-69 - 15-671969-70 - 37-451970-71 - 27-551971-72 - 40-42Moses's history with the Rockets with his good stats. 1976 - 40-421977 - 49-331978 - 28-541979 - 47-351980 - 41-411981 - 40-42Also Elvin only took the Rox to the playoffs one time and lost in the semis. Moses took 'em there 4 times. Lost one in the E.Finals, E. First Round, E. Conf Semis then the Finals. And in 1981 he took 'em to the finals. Shows how valuable he is to the Rockets. I'd rather have him over Elvin anyday.

If winning put players on the all time team then I guess Robert Horry should start at PF, shouldnt he? He had 2 championships, so that means he's the better player, right? Moses had alot better team. He had Tomjanovich who was a 24 ppg guy, and also Cal Murhpy who was a very good point.Elvin had better stats, and I thought he was the better player for the Rockets so Im going with him...
Moses had much more impact at the PF position then Elvin did. Yeah Moses had Calvin and Rudy but imagine his numbers without them.I was going on the fact on who had more impact on the team and it was obvious Moses did.http://www.clutchcity.net/teams.cfm?Season=1982He was the leader of that team. Leading them to the Finals against a very strong Boston Team with Larry Bird. Now i'll show you how Moses developed every year and Rudy's and Calvin's great years with the Rockets when Moses was there.http://www.clutchcity.net/teams.cfm?Season=1977 - Moses was only a rook. And Rudy averaged 21 ppg. They made it to the East Conf. Finals.http://www.clutchcity.net/teams.cfm?Season=1978 - Here was Calvin averaging 25 PPG and Rudy T with another 21 PPG season. That didn't take them no where as they had a losing season with a record of 28-54.http://www.clutchcity.net/teams.cfm?Season=1979 - Now heres the season where Moses started dominating in his three years in the NBA. He was the new leader. With a 47-35 record.http://www.clutchcity.net/teams.cfm?Season=1980 - Moses continues to lead his team. 41-41 record. He keeps on improving.http://www.clutchcity.net/teams.cfm?Season=1981 - Now this is where he dominates even more. He continues to lead his team to the playoffs taking them to the East Semis.http://www.clutchcity.net/teams.cfm?Season=1982 - Now he takes the Rockets to the finals. Making them a respectible franchise. All hopes go down when they lose to the Boston Celtics. It shows how big of a impact he made on the team. And if it were based on stats, and he didn't have Murphy and Rudy he woulda had bigger stats then he had then. It also shows how much he improved. And how he became the leader of the team. In the year where he took him in the finals he had a 36 year old Elvin Hayes, a solid 26 year old role player Robert Reid, another role player 24 year old Allen Leavell, and a 33 year old Calvin Murphy. He was 26 when he took him to the Finals. He had huge impact. This is why I feel he is the better player for the Rockets. For the impact he had on the team and his postion.
Elvin played better so Im going to pick him...He had some dominant seasons like his 29 ppg, 16 rpg season. I;m not going to pick a player because they won. Thats BS. Elvin had like no help at all.
Now isn't that funny. He had Don Kojis, Jon Block and Jim Barnett in his first and second year.In his third year he had Stu Lantz and Calvin Murphy. In his 4th year he had Stu Lantz, Calvin Murphy and Rudy T.
Yeah, too bad Calvin and Rudy were both rookies. I guess Jon Block and Stu Lantz is talent around him..
