I tried to be nice. I predicted his ceiling at 15 pts/4 reb/ 3 ast. Those are all career highs, by a significant margin.. BNM
I think you do not understand how disappointed I am that this thread wasn't about the merits of dungeness vs. king crab?
Because I can. Fuck that. Too many Crabbe lovers in here acting like he was a good player. I can say what I want.
why appreciate him? signed an offer sheet last summer and we were the stupid ones to match obviously but he wanted a bigger role, didn't wanna be here. Everybody gives Batum so much shit for signing an offer sheet but in the end he really wanted to be here. Crabbe is different, he never wanted to be here, he thinks he can ball out with money and play at some level I have never seen possible of a guy who can do one thing good
As Tom Petty once said, "It's just the normal noises in here". When have we had a player appreciation thread without multiple thread crappers posting negative comments? Even if it's just "I appreciate that he's gone"? The only one I can possibly think of is Wes Matthews. Aldridge, Batum and even Roy caught the ire of some fans, and even though this forum didn't exist, so did Clyde and Walton. Porter, Kersey and Buck were spared, but that was in the pre-internet days. BNM
One thing Clutchfans has that we should adopt is threads titled things like, "I have grown to HATE James Frauden." We need those for all our players too.
The only thing I'm adopting from them is.... Eh, I can't think of anything in .9 seconds, I'm sure they could.
I appreciate that Crabbe now has a chance to earn that salary with starter minutes -- should be interesting though because he never really seemed to have that "killer instinct" so as a starter it might quite the roller-coaster for Nets fans
I am extremely curious to see how Crabbe does in Brooklyn. That'll be one of the more interesting non-Blazers plot lines for me.
I imagine he will score between 18 and 20 ppg. They will in no way be efficient points. If the coach needs him to shoot, he will though.
