Didn't Crabbe have the best 3-point % in the league or something? We're going to miss that. This trade is not a coup for Olshey. This is a huge admission of a fuckup. If you didn't like him, let him go last year and save a shit ton of money. You gambled on him either taking a huge leap (he didn't, but he didn't regress either - he just kept being basically what he was) or that people would offer you a great player for a package including Crabbe. Fail on both counts. And now you have to take back a player paid over six million dollars a year (enough to make a cyborg) and then instantly release him. PLUS: now your decision to draft Zach Collins over Donovan Mitchell (or Malik Monk) is going to look pretty bad until Collins starts to produce (assuming he ever does). That made sense when we were overstocked with scoring guards, but now not so much, especially given how good Mitchell has looked.
I never said I approved his trade to our team. You stepped into your own blind corner. If he is on the team you should send your dark comment to Olshey. It is what it is. I don't care.
Mmmm....That "ring" finger won't happen in Portland with Nicholson on board. Olshey wasted a trade. Nurk proved himself. Lets see if Nicholson can do the same as Nurk.
Nicholson is being waived via the stretch provision. If he's going to prove himself, it'll be on another team.
