Zo left Miami after his kidney transplant and after Tim Hardaway left as well. The Nets were a strong team and he was looking for a title. Miami was a lottery pick team and he was desperate. He had a problem with mangement and wanted out. Just like Shaq wanted out of L.A and T-Mac wanted out of Orlando. Don't say he didnt earn this title because you earn titles on the court and he definately earned it there.

Eclipse, you should be the last one to say that this is wrong..look at VC. He is my fav. player too but wat he did was probably worse than Zo. I bet if he won a title you won't say he didn't deserve it.

I seriously doubt that. They both wanted to leave their teams and got what they wanted. Except Zo continues to bash the Nets, while Carter said he loves Toronto and, that he is sorry things didn't work out.

^^Really? Last time I checked he said that the big 3 was the best in the league. At least Zo gave his all unlike Vince who admitted to not trying.

Theres no way Vince loves Toronto when he says he wont dunk anymore, and didn't, untill he joined the Nets and as a net averaged close to 30ppg compared to the 16ppg while with the raps that season.

Yea he said that in order to diss the Mavs "3". Not to compliment Nets.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Alonzo Mourning took time out from his usual rants about the Nets management to offer praise for the Nets' Big Three of Jason Kidd, Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson, saying as a unit they are much better than their Mavs' perimeter players--Josh Howard, Jason Terry, and Jerry Stackhouse. In the past, Mourning has claimed the Nets tried to kill him in 2004 by overplaying him.</div>

Zo also admitted to not trying and not caring after the Nets traded Martin. He also tried to lie how the Nets were trying to kill him by giving him a lot of minutes. Then he claimed that he didn't tell Coach Frank that he wanted less minutes, in order to show that the Nets couldn't break him down. That's complete BS.

Vince made a huge mistake when he said he didn't try for Toronto. There is a differnece between saying "I think I was mentally burnt out from the drastic changes...wins to losses....and I think it affected my performance negatively" and "I didn't try for Toronto."

    Now,

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">He didn't earn the right to switch teams like that. Nobody can. Really, he didn't earn the right to be on that Miami Heat team in the first place</div>

Chutney is on point with that one. I mean, 'Zo left the Heat in despereation to win that 'chip. Even after all the support that the Heat had given him through his health problems. While I realize it's all a business, I thought that was ridiculously foul. And then look waht he had to do to get back to the heat.
