Tonights is the game against the Kings back in 89, where Drexler scored 50 points.

Nice to hear Schonz again. And you can listen online too
 
Strange there was no promotion of this. I’d love to listen.
 
I wonder if they'll do a themed week. Like, "clydes best games" or "big victories" or milk this Jordan craze and do a week of games against Chicago or maybe the Wizards.
 
The Classless Michael Doodad should never be on a Blazers station, IMO. "Thank GOD! I didn't go to Portland" he says, Whatever. I actually would love to see his Hornets get to the Finals vs. Us one day, with him still the owner, then we smoke'em, 4 games to none.

I call MJ "d!@k" or Doodad. A slang for it back in the Seventies.
 
Hey off this thing. HCP, was that you who Brooke interviewed during a Blazers Broadcast. Was watching the classic game and i believe it was you. How long have you worked for Blazers Broadcasting? Thanks for what you do. I lived in other cities, and the broadcast are as good as it gets IMO.

Thanks for the compliments man. I started pulling cable for our camera guys and being a "grunt" on the tv crew during the '99 playoffs. Working Pac 10 games and other random events until I started coming back as a regular with the Blazers in 2002. And I started traveling with the team at the end of the 2004-05 season. My first road trip Cheeks was still coaching. I grew up with Damon Stoudamire. I remember the first time he saw me walk on Blazer-1.....he said, "What the fuck!?" I cracked up and said,"We BOTH made the NBA FAMS!"

Does anyone know if they've released a schedule of games they're going to do? Sounds like they're digitizing the games, according to Chad Doing's show.

I can't believe they weren't already digitized.

I bet they're just going to do it until the end of the stoppage, or whenever the next season starts up. But no matter how long they're doing it, it's awesome that they're doing it!

Maybe we should petition them to re-name the station KGW.

One weird thing is, the Blazers are playing like ass, and losing...but you can't really tell based on Bill's call. As I loved Brian Wheelers call, you could turn on the radio and within 5 seconds you'd know if the Blazers were winning or losing. Not saying that was a negative, but it''s kind of interesting how their styles were so vastly different.

Because they did. They play more than one game a night it seems. Cliffy fouled out and we lost by 10 or so. Seems to be a Bulls vs Blazers week because of the Jordan propaganda film.
