The size, speed, technique or style? Not even position. I'm just saying it's not good at all to call him a center. He's good, but he cant bring much impact to the team. There is no difference to the suns standing if he plays or not. If u think he's gonna be the next shaq, u r the most ignorant guy.</div>

So proffesional NBA analysts are ignorant, too? They have also compared him to Shaq. Not by his build, but by his dominance in the post. He gets position whenever he wants, can dunk whenever he wants, he's added the J to his game. Behind LeBron, Amare is the most dominant youngster in the NBA. He has more speed than Shaq, more technique, and to say he brings no impact to a team is ignorant. Why do you think the Suns want him there his whole career? Because he impacted that team when they drafted him and he's only getting better. Once again, your ignorance prevails.

I can't wait until they get Amare & Barbosa back. It's gonna be tight, I'm glad to hear that Amare is having a good recovery, I hope he doesn't try to rush his return to the court because it could have long-term effects on his career.

Shaq's career averages are 26pts. per 12 reb. and 57% from the field he's been in the league for over ten years. Amare has only played for three years, give him a few more solid years and he will be the most dominate big man. Plus Shaq was never the sole component to his champiuonship years with the lakers. A big man needs a guard like Kobe, Nash, or D-Wade to be successful. Would you say Shaq is no good because the Heat can win a game without him? No you wouldn't! Would you say the Heat are title contenders without Shaq-- No they definetly are NOT. The same can be said about the Suns. Yes they are a good team with Nash, Marion and a boat load od good role players, but until Amare comes back they are not championship contenders.

BTW, How many games did the rockets win with Yao being the sole ace while McGrady was out?[IMG]

To tell you the truth, "0". that's pretty sad. but with yao out, T-mac cant carry the team either. That makes me jealous of your team. U can still win without Amare. Alrite, he's good. I'm wrong.
