<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (4THNLONGFELLOW)</div><div class='quotemain'>I don't think we will be seeing Favre anymore, unless he does some more Sensodyne commercials or something. The Pack lost his starting center also don't forget and Favre was already running for his life half of last season already. I would be surprised but keep up with the wishfull thinking, who knows.</div>
Flanagan wasn't really that great of a center though. In fact he was hurt most of last season and Scott Wells is just as good. I think he'll come back.. If you asked me right after the season I would of said retire but he obviously wants to play. He's waited to long already..

Cowboy71 is the enternal optimist and can find a gleam of hope in anything.

Edit: Sometimes he even talks in the third person.

It seems that we will know about Favre's future by Saturday as the Pack has asked for him to have one by then. Why are we talking about Favre in the Dallas forum anyways? Sorry about that 71.[IMG]

Don't apologize to Cowboy71. I'm guessing that he cut a deal with Favre. [IMG]

It was a small deal, but it got us out of talking about TO, didn't it? See BF1, Favre does have at least one good point.

Terrell Owens signing will prove to be a mistake in year two of his contract, and then he'll become a headcase again, ranting and raving about how this QB isn't throwing him the ball, how his teammates can't live without him.
Jerry really messed up when they signed this guy. He is going to become a total disruption to the team in year two, so if the Boys want that Super Bowl ring, they'd better get it this year.

Of course in year two, we all expect Parcells to say enough. He's gettin old and his glory days are over. There will be a new coach in town in year 2007. If Parcells doesn't take better care of himself, that will probably be the main reason he won't be back. It's time for the coach to start some kind of fitness program for himself or end up like Elvis.

If you are that high on T.O., then go buy his book, I understand that there's not much of a line.

Yes, T.O. is a great athlete and a great receiver, but there's a thing called attitude that he just flunks in.
There's the fact that the man is possibly bipolar and will act out the same way when something happens that he don't like.

I am a long time Cowboys fan and T.O. is one guy the team really didn't need to improve.

Jerry and Bill will have to deal with the tornado when it hits. And I will laugh.

This year should be a "honeymoon period" for T.O. and all concerned. However, A "T.O. moment" is to be expected anytime after the first season. Also if we end up winning big and going to the.... gulp.... Super Bowl then watch for him to want more money. Heck Jerry probably would give it to him. Usually teams take a shot on a gifted but, shall we say "flighty" player when they feel they need just a piece or two to get far into the playoffs. I dont know that this is the case in Dallas but Jerry all but said so in the press conference opening training camp the other day. I know I saw Bill cringe at least twice while Jerry was pontificating on why we are a much better team than last years model. All I know is that something about all your eggs in one basket keeps coming to mind. Later.....

He made a TO incident in philly first year. It was vs pittsburgh when he ripped mcnabb on sideline. Dallas wont win sb this year because of TO.
