Vonleh is a massively superior defender and rebounder. And I don't cringe when he touches the ball on offense.
I assume you are being sarcastic... So to answer in a serious way, Is he any worse than Harkless that way?
Make sense please. His turnovers are WAY down, he looks more confident, and is making better decisions with the ball in the open court. He's obviously worked on this part of his game. No one. Not even @blue9 can complain about how Aminu is playing this year. Sans the injury, he's having a great season.
Sorry, I was remembering last year more than this year. He's been doing great and I hope that continues. Playing SF will be a test for him though as he will be put in more positions to handle the ball than he does at PF.
I will ALWAYS complain about him! But I do have to admit, I've liked his role the past couple weeks. On a more serious note, before going on vacation (and before his injury) I did notice that he was dribbling up the court far less than in past seasons. That's a good sign. But I don't expect his 3-point percentage to stay where it is, and once it comes down there'll be very little reason to play him, except to light a fire under Harkless' ass.
So who on the team doesn't want to be here? Besides, how do you know Davis doesn't want to be a starter elsewhere? Accepting a role doesn't necessarily mean he's happy with it.
I've listened to both guys talk....they are team first guys and they happen to like Portland...I happen to like them....they don't complain about being lower paid than some bench players, etc....these are my observations and opinions and really, they're not debate material eh? I actually like every player on the roster this season...I'd say Shabazz might wish he was starting somewhere if anyone.
Chief, Noah, Meyers are all coming off injuries....Dame is gimpy...it shows...his ankle probably needs a break....Chief hasn't played in ages, nor the other guys..they will shake the rust ..Noah already has...Meyers is actually not playing bad this season...he's just the guy with the most to prove at this point
