^The Mavs have two more wins, and coincidentally, 2 head to head wins over the Suns :dribble: .Just because Dirk doesn't have to score, and doesn't have to take over the scoring load as much as these guys doesn't mean anything. You don't have to score the most points every night to win the MVP, but I do think stepping up when you need too, as Dirk does, and has done so many times, is worth it as well.

So many people think differently about what makes an MVP. I already stated the areas in which I feel makes an MVP. A big part, to me, is your team needing you every night and play like an MVP. Whether it be leading, scoring, playmaking, great defense, coming up in the clutch, etc... Dirk doesn't need to play great ball every night for his team to win, and to me that is a bit of a determent.

Lame definition.
Lol you realize that you need a good team to be MVP, thats a huge factor in it. Most Valuable player. That means that you make your team good not you mjake your team okay

Kobe, GA and Nash are all having better seasons thatn Dirk, IMO more valuable to their team, and all going to get to that plateu (Arenas' Wizards might actually get the #1 seed in the East, too).
My list, not what I think it will end up being, but how I think it should be.1. Steve Nash - He is having a career year stat-wise and leading his team to one of the best records in the NBA. The only thing they may keep him from winning it is the fact that he can't beat Dallas. Which leads me to...2. Dirk Nowitizki - The star player on the current best team in the NBA. His stats have dropped a little but he has his team around him playing better. He has stepped it up defensivly and is having a great season.3. Kobe Bryant - The best player in the NBA now shows he can play team ball. While he was hurt, he saw his team could win and doesn't need to rely on him as much. He now has come back, scoring and dishing the ball and getting his teamates in the game and if his team finishes with 50+ wins, he will definatly have a shot.Honorable mention - Gilbert Arenas, Tim Duncan, Carlos Boozer, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade
