    Nick is supposedly looking at a 2-year ban and a 30% hit on his fight purse which will be (minimally) $150,000. Ouch.

    That's true, actually, Diaz's penalty will be worse, but only because he is now a three time recidivist. His fines and suspensions keep getting larger with each transgression.

    Silva's probably looking at 9-12 months suspension plus a smaller fine (in terms of percentage but not overall amount).

    The UFC have decided not to pull Anderson Silva from his coaching position on TUF Brazil, which is filming presently.

    The UFC is a joke. How do you let Silva continue filming TUF? His legacy is tainted, IMO. How many times did he use and not get tested? The more and more that comes out, the better GSP is looking. He said PED usage was through the roof, I am starting to believe him.

    If Nick and Anderson both pay 30% in fines, and the NSAC's cut of the gate is 5%, letting this fight go on despite knowing the pre-fight results gets the NSAC $620,000 off the top. They have a lot of incentive to let the show go on.

    Silva personally denies (ever) using and will fight the test results. Still waiting on B-sample confirmation and the results of more recent tests.

    If you're wondering why Richard Perez wasn't in Nick Diaz's corner for the fight, they had a falling out just before UFC 183 over money. Nick had a similar situation previously with Cesar Gracie as well.

    Perez says Diaz has denied him a cut for over two years of competition which is shocking (especially since it's been during Nick's biggest paydays). So the whole time Diaz was touting Perez, bringing him into the cage, etc., he was stiffing him.
