The pistons are rumored to be trading Jason Maxiell to the LA Lakers for Kobe Bryant.

Have you ever seen him play? I watch him 82 games a year plus the playoffs. He isn't an offensive player, 8-10 PPG? You nuts bro? Damon Jones doesn't even average that with the Cavaliers and hes a shooter. We will bet. If Anderson does go to Memphis, and you got a guy with a huge contract and now hes overpaid... I bet he wont lick 9 points a game. No sir. He has no offensive game whatsoever. This is the same guy that tried to take Tim Duncan in the closing seconds in game 3 of the NBA Finals.. Haha, good luck buddy.

How do I know I'm wrong? I am actually correct. You're telling me Anderson Varejao, who has no offensive game whatsoever can score up to 10 points a game with Memphis. Unless he is the only guy on the team shooting the ball, he wont do it.. But we should bet something on this. I think Memphis will sign Andy, to tell you the truth. But you never know, Ferry could offer Andy any kinda money because hes a moron. But seriously, I wanna make some kinda bet.. No way in Hell Andy touches 8 points, let alone 10. :HAHAHA:

Okay, we'll make a bet..But you do realize that your telling me that a player who averaged 6ppg in 23mpg on a slow paced team, cant score 8-10ppg playing a good 10 more minutes a game on a fast-paced team.

He had LeBron James setting him up MANY times. Sure, he'll get more chances with Memphis, but he has no offensive game...

...okay I realize he doesn't have a great offensive arsenal, but playing in a fast-paced style(which means more shots for everyone), playing with a playmaking PG(Conley) and a big man who gets alotve players open(Gasol) and with his minutes going way up, hes going to get 8-10ppg from garbage shots and dunks. If he can average 6ppg on a slow team, playing off the bench and only 23 minutes a game....he can get 8-10ppg starting, playing around 30 minutes per game on a fast-paced team(which like I said, theres alot more shots to go around).

All of you're points are good ones, but a guy named Larry Hughes was gonna do the same thing when he came to Cleveland. Had LeBron James as his running mate, and Z and Gooden as offensive bigs and rebounder's. Yet, Larry seemed to fail to make anything happen. I'm just using Larry Hughes has an EX. Andy has no offensive game, if he averaged 10 points a game hes obviously shooting the ball way to much. We also tried to run the offense uptempo a few times. Wanna know what Andy did? Nothing.

I watched the Cavs throughout the entire playoffs, and I only saw a couple plays every game where Cleveland was running, and on several occasions Varejao got dunks. So your basicly saying the only reason Varejao is averaging 6ppg is becuase Hughes isnt scoring enough? Thats insane...this is ridicolous, make the bet and we'll see whos right if he comes to Memphis.

Did you need read what I said? Obviously not. I really want to keep Andy, but hes not gonna do as good with Memphis. I guess hes all about money if he wants to go from 1st, to worst.[/font]

Why would you say Varajeo wouldn't do as good in Memphis? Players like him thrive in up-tempo offenses like Memphis will run next season. I think Varajeo would do great in Memphis if he signed with us.

Cleveland ran the uptempo offense many times and Andy did nothing.. But if you guys HONESTLY think Anderson can do well on offense with Memphis, go right ahead and think that. I kinda want to see it myself... And I'm sure I will once Andy gets signed by Memphis.

We're not saying hes going to come to Memphis and become an offensive option, all im saying is in the Memphis system, with more minutes and the type of players he will be playing with, hes very capable of 10ppg purely as garbage points.

And all I'm saying is he wont do so because we've seen him run with LeBron, Larry, Gibson and did nothing. You're telling me Conley[Rookie] and Pau is better than that? I don't think so.

Cleveland's offense was pretty much based around "Get the ball in LeBron's hands", while Memphis will run a more structured offense. I think that will benefit Varajeo moe, if he does sign with us. That's not saying Memphis is better by any means.

He might do better, but he wont average like 10 points or anything. He has no offensive skill, none! If the guy makes a jump-shot, it's outta pure-luck.

Your not understanding what im saying. Do you know what garbage points are? Several players get something around 8-10ppg from it, just from dunks and easy layups. I dont know how many more times I have to say this, hes getting 6ppg in 23minutes on a slow team....why cant he get 2-4 more points a game on a up-tempo team(fulltime, not just a couple plays) with getting atleast 10 more minutes of playing time...
