Well that's probably right. The cops all over this country have armored trucks and other military hand me downs..this is what you get when you militarize the police.

I agree with your statement the cop needs to be fired. Don't need anything else to tell me there was clear unnecessary force being used. What we cant tell is if it was racially motivated, and you should know this, from many many discussions on here, how dangerous it is to accuse one of something without real proof. There is nothing to me indicating any type of racial issue. It doesn't mean there isn't, but from this video, 'im not sure how you come to the conclusion he is another racist cop. Another dumbass prick of a cop who needs to relinquish his badge until he is able to maintain himself under duress, sure. But to now brand him as racist could be a wrongful label that could spin out of control and cause backlash that isnt fair.

They make an old school cop hater like myself jump to the other side.

I've been thinking about this all morning cuz someone I respect called me on it and I really do think I just jump to conclusions now. Luckily I really don't have any power over this situation so what opinion I vomit out here really doesn't carry much weight.

Golly! They should make room in the Bible for this passage to supplement the teachings of Jesus.

Every case is different. I have 2 teenagers, that are pretty damn good kids. What I notice is how many shitty parents there are now. Being a shitty teen or person in general is a learned behavior in my opinion.

There's an old adage that says if you can't raise your kids right, you shouldn't have kids.

Absolutely right. Again, I quote the words in that song from South Pacific regarding racism although it could apply to a multitude of sins, you've got to be taught, carefully taught... .

It's already here in our nation, buddy.

I just step back and keep myself out of it wherever possible.

Perhaps. It certainly is a sign of need for improving behavior. Tutoring possibly required.

    Absolutely.

Behavioral traits are absolutely learned from those who raise us.

Oh! I hope you can carry this out. Sometimes it doesn't go as well as you would hope.

Mmmm, I watch myself every day to make sure I don't continue the bad traits of my parents. I don't smoke cigs or hardly every drink. Mostly because both parents did.

I haven't had any children yet. I will have a planned birth, unlike my parents.

I damn near guessed this from the prior post.
Let me just say, I find I am a much better Grandfather, than I was father. But as long as you care, and correct as you go. Enjoy!

Although my parents did not drink excessively, they both smoked which I and my wife will never do.
We also, are very light drinkers. Just today I was trying to remember the last time I had alcohol and thought it had been about three months. My wife reminded me of two beers I had within the last two weeks. I very seldom have more than one. So I guess I've had two beers in the last three months. I had a grandfather, two uncles and two aunts who were alcoholics. My wife's father was an alcoholic.
My father beat me when I was very young. When I reached 12 he apologized for striking me and said he would never do it again and that good parenting means talking to your child along with setting a good example. How true.
It reminds me of owning a dog. You can always tell a lot about a person by how their dog acts.

    Do you realize:

No one had called the cop racist.

The only one in here doing the Us vs Them thing is you right now...

All of you defending the cops here think government is corrupt...

    So why aren't their enforcers?

To be fair the original name of the thread called the cop a racist. I saw a lot of he's racist stuff on the comments section of the longer video I saw.

I can't tell you if he's racist or not I can tell you he's a terrible cop.
