    I am also thinking of the Chiefs a few years back - they started the year 13 - 0 only to see a quick exit from the playoffs.

    I think the Bears are riding high on confidence. They had a cush schedule to start out the season, had a good win over the Vikings, dominated a Seattle team that may be overplaying so far this season, and now beat Buffalo who has not sold me on being a consistent performer yet this year.

    The key to the Bears is Grossman. The kid is on fire and playing way above where I expect him to actually play. This is not a knock on him - his current level of play would rival all the QB greats in history if he continued this. My worry about him is that when he crashes, he will take the Bears with him.

    I dont like the KC comparison, here is why.

    The bears have won 4 of thier first 5 games by 25+ points.

    Here is a list of other teams in super bowl era that have done that:

    Ok, now that we have established the unmatched dominance to start a season, you will realize why I am sure the bears will win the super bowl.
