With Phoenix and Utah reverting back to in-house production and free broadcast TV distribution for their local game feed, plus promising eventual free streaming options, the Blazers are looking increasingly old-school in their offerings. Now that we have the Remix and potentially a future WNBA team needing fan access, and loud rumors of ROOT Sports facing shutdown and bankruptcy soon (and in any case, their contract with ROOT ends after the 24-25 season), is it time for the Blazers to bring everything back to home base and distribute locally for free again?

Nothing is free anymore.

IDK??? I see every game I turn on and can record them if I want plus internet. Costs me an extra 15 bucks a month compared to basic cable and internet. I also get Mariners games and Kracken Hockey.
Seems reasonable to me.

Huh, it's an extra $100 a month for me. My internet alone is 80. Different for different folks, not just $15/month.

Who knows what’s going to happen, but the Jazz and Suns streaming is NOT free.

I didn’t say anything about over the air. I said streaming.

I'll take "things the HCP says about his onlyfans site for 500 Alex"

Root should air the Remix games.
they should just bootleg a stadium cam on the government broadcasting channel. Nobody watches boring public meetings, everyone would tune into the Remix.

Charter cable, Spectrum, is in a big brawl with Disney. My TV's have no ESPN or FX channels. Just a screen with a statement by Spectrum whining & complaining about Disney charging too much.

The pull the rug move coincided with exact timing to the start of NCAA football. College fans are dropping Spectrum faster then a hot skillet, keeping the Dish network new customer lines super busy.

What this has to do with Blazers streaming?
Nothing... just relating some local Cable news.

What's the latest update on viewing blazer games on tv/cable/sattelite/stream/etc?

What are our options?

I thought I heared root sports went bankrupt not too long ago.
I think you're confusing Fubotv

Yes but you’re paying for the main package too. If someone just wants Blazers games in Portland, it costs way more than $15.
Literally just paid my bill for Xfinity. Internet + Cable with the sports package with Peacock and Paramount+ $167.43
I get every Blazer game. I did not buy league pass this year which i could get for $80 bucks because i cancelled from last year. I just don't see what people are bitching about?

Does league pass still block out* blazer games if you pay for all teams?

You are paying $167!!! That’s what they’re bitching about. How does one get just the Blazers games IN PORTLAND (where league pass is blocked out) for $15?? It doesn’t exist. You’re paying over $100 which is about the minimum you have to pay to get Blazers games legally.

No not in any way are you correct. I’m paying just under $100 for my cable and internet that my kids and Wife use constantly. I’m paying 15 bucks so I can watch the Blazers and Mariners and pretty much every other major sports events that come along. I also watch the streaming through peacock and paramount. On top of that I have HBO. So try to keep up here. $167 covers way more than just Blazers. The part that brings me EVERY game they play is $15 bucks.
