I doesn't take long for NFL defenders to figure out Kelly's offense...they don't get gassed at halftime like college players...they are just getting warmed up by then. Kelly is a smug guy...the pro game hasn't slowed down enough for him

but if he donates that money to an important cause...the hoopla has a happy ending for someone deserving hopefully..that's the silver lining and I commend him for refusing to keep jersey sale money or profit at all from it.

Something weird i came across as a result of all this, is how much hate colins birth mother is getting on twitter. People saying she is a money grubbing ho, to saying she gave him up for adoption because he was half black.

    People are fucking terrible.

Agreed. I'm very eager to see how Blaine does. I don't judge him based on Jacksonville: he was VERY young and on a notoriously shitty team. I also can't blame him for last season: we had a HORRIBLE coaching staff who wouldn't cut it at a Pee-Wee game, and an OLine which wouldn't cut it at the College level.

We have a new and FAR better OLine and a new coaching staff. Let's see what he does there. Can he improve, or will he always be backup quality?

This. I didn't read that entire article, but I did scan through it. I think we'll be fine; I'm not predicting a perfect season by any means. But with last years staff and OLine, we went 5-11. With this staff who actually knows how the game of football is played, and with this far better OLine, I think we can improve to 8-8 or 9-7 and POSSIBLY squeeze into a Wildcard position. Granted: a LOT has to happen for that to become a reality, but it IS possible this year.

Our biggest weakness, by far, is at WR. Ellington is out for the season, and that pretty much leaves Patton and Smith; Patton playing the slot, and Smith as a deep threat. That's not great. Especially as the other WRs are on the practice squad.

And our TEs aren't all that great either: Celek is mediocre, Bell is young and raw, and McDonald only just started catching the ball last year, and still looks shaky hauling it in.

RB is being led by a guy with HUGE potential, but also a LOT of injury history, who hasn't been able to stay on the field a full season. Hyde can beast with this OLine, but can he stay healthy? That remains to be seen. He's being backed up by Draugn, who wasn't even in the league this time last year, and Davis, who's looked VASTLY improved from his rookie season last year, but is also still unproven.

I think our Defense is fine (still questions at OLB and ILB/MLB, but overall they are fine), but our Offense is a giant question mark.

Can Kelly do it? We'll see.

That's basically my point. And why I love what he's doing. I'd purchase and wear a Kap jersey simply because the money would be donated.

Holy shit, really? We enslaved an ENTIRE RACE?

That dudes math is impressive. The first settlement in North America wasn't until 1607 (Jamestown). So by his math, we had slaves until 1907. I guess the Civil War in 1861 doesn't count (part of that history that you don't need to applaud.)

Then, we banned them from our privileges for the next 100 years after that. So THE ENTIRE black race (whatever that is) was banned from American privileges until 2007. Forget that the US didn't exist until after the Revolutionary War in 1776 (169 years after we supposedly enslaved an entire race of people.)

news flash! slavery sucks...we stopped it. now we all need to act accordingly with respect and civility...it's just that simple or we end up ghost dancing and blood feuding for eternity....like the Sunni Shiite or any standoff...civil rights is about humanity, not celebration of division.....now don't cue We are the World by Michael Jackson or I'll puke

    The "Great Emancipator":

    1. On the expansion of slavery:

    Lincoln said:
There is a natural disgust in the minds of nearly all white people to the idea of indiscriminate amalgamation of the white and black races ... A separation of the races is the only perfect preventive of amalgamation, but as an immediate separation is impossible, the next best thing is to keep them apart where they are not already together. If white and black people never get together in Kansas, they will never mix blood in Kansas ...

    2. On shipping blacks back to Africa:

    Lincoln said:
In the language of Mr. Jefferson, uttered many years ago, "It is still in our power to direct the process of emancipation, and deportation, peaceably, and in such slow degrees, as that the evil will wear off insensibly; and in their places be, pari passu [on an equal basis], filled up by free white laborers."

    3. On outlawing slavery in the south (before the rebellion).

    Lincoln said:
I have no purpose directly or indirectly to interfere with the institution of slavery in the states where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so.

    4. On equality:

    Lincoln said:
I have no purpose to introduce political and social equality between the white and black races. There is physical difference between the two which, in my judgment, will probably forever forbid their living together upon the footing of perfect equality, and inasmuch as it becomes a necessity that there must be a difference, I, as well as Judge Douglas, am in favor of the race to which I belong having the superior position.

    5. On inter-racial marriage:

    Lincoln said:
Our republican system was meant for a homogeneous people. As long as blacks continue to live with the whites they constitute a threat to the national life. Family life may also collapse and the increase of mixed breed bastards may some day challenge the supremacy of the white man
