That was my thought, too. CJ and Nurk ... I like the Pelicans' roster much better than ours after that deal.

Something tells me the Celtics are Frontrunners on Davis, thats why Rich Paul came out to warn them not to trade for AD. Ainge isn't scared of Clutch Sports, LeBron and the Lakers. And I honestly think even David Griffin would rather deal with Boston without getting Tatum, then dealing with the Lakers.

If we can't convince them otherwise, I seriously would be open to CJ + Nurk for AD + Moore + Okafor. We'd be giving up a lot, but that's the price to pay to put top 10 players together on the same team. Neither CJ nor Nurk have that potential.

I also kinda like the Collins-AD combo.

    I'll be honest.
Not sure I could embrace AD if it costs Nurk.
Even though the AD/Zach could be more effective than AD/Nurk.
He's just too important to everything this team has become. On and off the floor.

Nurk is injured. Though not universal, teams often shy away from injured players.

I can't stand this guy. Full of bravado, but he's burning bridges with these teams left and right. His business isn't just in the best interest of the players no matter how much he would like to think. GMs are gonna start to blackball him and his clients.

    Just toxic quotes.

He’s awful and is only where he’s at because he’s friends with Lebron.

That being said, his words mean nothing to me. Just another agent trying to control a situation.

He's obviously just looking out for himself and his clients, but isn't that his job?
So he's only where he's at because he was friends with Lebron, lots of people only get where they're at because of knowing the right people, is anything wrong with that?

I'm not a Rich Paul fan by any stretch of the imagination, but it seems like mainly he's just doing his job.

Just a side note; Olshey has known Lebron since before the NBA, so if there is a GM that has a good relationship with Paul, it’s probably him. I remember Olshey getting the clippers a sit down meeting with Lebron the summer he went to the Heat. The clippers were garbage back then and had no business getting one on one time with him, but Olshey made it happen.

Yes, there is something absolutely wrong with that given the kind of collusion that can occur. Silver letting this happen is a black mark on the leage

According to Rich Paul, a GM should not talk to his players.

    What is this guy smoking?

I see him being traded out west much like Leonard was to the East. JMO

I guess. It seems to me he is telling everyone that AD doesn't care about winning. The other possibility is that AD's best interests don't enter into it and this is all about pleasing LeBron.

To be fair, he’s right in this specific instance. Agents are there for a reason.

Replace AD and Demps with Dame and Neil in this instance, or Steph and Bob Myers.

A POBO can't talk to his own players now?

I would agree it is more a Silver problem than a Rich Paul problem. Agents will do whatever they can get away with.
