Yea I agree with that, maybe not heavy but give him something like Kevin Ollie and Ira Newble have. 2.5 million first year, 2.7 second year, but for his you'll have a team option (or player) for 2.9 million the third year, and 3.1 million the 4th year. I mean seriously, if Kevon Ollie and Ira Newble are making that you can't be expecting Mcdyess to make less.
Yeah McDyess has stated he would love to come to Houston, since he has a home here...I see the Rockets offering atleast the mid-level exception for him, which i think is 4.5 million...plus they have a trade deal where they have extra cash space to use on a trade (where they can trade that exception without having to give up another player)...it came from the Glen Rice-to-Utah swap early this season...but McDyess would fit in nicely and add an athletic element to an otherwise "grounded" frontline...all that worries me is injuries, but I think he's atleast worth the risk...
