I think it actually happened when him and Rondo hit knees. Batum's bent lateraly, Thought at the time it was amazing he didn't tear something. Probably PCL or MCL.

Batum said it was the play where Pierce drove and he was giving ground.

im guessing mild hyoer extension of knee which will be 2-4 week recovery. that is what it sounds like batum is describing.

I had a feeling he did something with Rondo. Coulda finished it with Pierce.

why not? if Nic is out for a good while, trade the vets, get a better draft pick, and see what the few young guys we have left got. and play whatever guys we get back in trade - why the heck not?

Hardly any team ever does that when they're still in the playoff race...

well a lot of teams IMO aren't very smart since the odds of us doing anything in the playoffs, if we even made it, are slim and none. If Nic's out for the yr the "none" is very likely. GM's that can look ahead and get their head out of the present and be realistic are ones that will do the better job for their team.

Even if the logic makes sense, it never happens, and that's not something you can fault Cho for.

You can't fault the fragrant one for trying to improve the team going forward?

I did and have not faulted CHO, I however will "fault" mgmt, whether that ultimately is Allen or CHO, if they do not take the logical and what I think is the "smart" and even obvious course of action if NICO is out. I'm a fan, I can rage and yell if I want and especially if I think I have good reason! LOL

I'll definitely be checking out the Timbers. The Blazers have been just too damn depressing of late.

What's the over/under for knee injuries to Timber players this year? I swear it's something in the water.

What the hell is with this "fragrant one" line? It seems like a party of one around here who gets it. If you want to stick him with a deprecating handle, it seems to me that it ought to at least be one that is intelligible. As it is, I'm left guessing as to your intended meaning and some of my guesses don't put you in a very good light.
