Agreed. Venice is one of my favorite places to visit just because it's such an interesting place to wander around in if you veer down the back streets.

Amsterdam is great. Its a city of overindulgence in a fun way, sex, drugs, and even food are all overdone and I loved it. Heres my low down.

    1) Sex museum is a riot. There are so many crazy things in there and some of the best photo opportunities of your whole trip.

    2) Red light district is a must. Its safe and you wont see anything pornographic, unless you want to, but window shopping for hookers is a lot of fun.

    3) Food was my favorite over indulgence, the snack shops are the best in the world and everywhere. Late night munchies will not be a problem.

    4) coffee shops and weed, Ive heard that they recently restricted weed purchase to tourists there but regardless it should still be an easy pick up. There is no regulation there so even if you can buy it in the coffee shop its probably not the strain they claim it to be. Also lost of scammers try and dust their weed with things that make it look more purple or crystaly, so beware. If it seems to awesome to be true it probably is. Other drugs if your into that are everywhere, the Nigerians hang out by the red light district trying to make eye contact with tourists and mumble coke/xtc/speed/lsd, just use caution.

5)Van Gogh, was awesome. Im not into art more than whats famous and what i think looks nice, but I was really moved by Van Gogh exhibit and felt some of his works "speak" to me. You could easily follow his progression as an artist and feel his life's emotion at that time through his work. Don't miss it.

    6) Parks are fantastic, very peaceful you can roll a few joints and just walk for hours, talking with random people. In fact the whole city had a very sophisticated peaceful feel to it.

    7) coffee shops are fun, coffee and weed go great together. The shops also have tons of stoner treats and games to entertain you also. Some of the most fun I had there was playing chess with strangers for hours and drinking orange fanta.
