Those two statements aren't necessarily contradictory.

Are you talking about the infighting in the Republican party? Yeah, I've got plenty of popcorn to snack on while I watch that infighting.

The GOP already fractured. Those of us who are against big government but aren't Christian fundamentalists. Those of us who aren't against abortion or gay marriage, but are pro gun rights. I can't support the GOP anymore because it no longer stands for fewer taxes, stronger states rights, etc. It's just another flavor of the Dems. Bigger government as long as its bigger government in a way that you like.

Well, the Democratic party is a lot more fun to watch because we don't yet know who will emerge victorious as the nominee. Much more popcorn-worthy, IMO.

This young lady scares the hell out of middle aged white conservatives.....I think it's better than SNL...she might be young but she's fearless about the status quo in DC...I like that.

Centrist vs. quasi-Socialist. OK, I can live with that. Still popcorn-worthy.

Look, I'm in the top 10%. I have nightmares that Warren might get elected.

I find it so comical how fearful the republicans are of a young female first term congresswoman.

Oh. I thought fear was sort of the end result of scares. I guess I didn't understand your post.

I think she has scared the hell out of some young people with her 12 more years crap. It should be worth a chuckle but there we are! They are out there protesting, some even showing their fear.

Haven't really paid much attention to it. If it comes to light and actually put before congress then I will look at it, but the fact is, we need to make changes to ensure we leave a better world for future generations. Imagine what the world would look like if we didn't regulate air and water quality and put no restrictions on emissions and fuel mileage on vehicles, continued to clear cut our forests and so on and so on. We would be in even worse shape. I'm not big on a lot of regulations, but when it comes to the environment and safety, I'm usually all for it. I worked in the chemical industry for years and some of the shit we did in the late 70's and early 80's were horrendous both environmentally and safety wise.

I would pay to see you debate some of these young students as they appear much more educated on the subject than you are.
