This is totally reminding me of that south park episode where they smell their own farts. That's a perfect picture for apple fanatics
I can see Mags just walking into an apple store, looks around takes a deep breath and smiles, then asks the people working there questions he already knows the answers to.
Regardless of hardware, software or whatever. The innovation is the user experience and integration with everything an apple user does. And this experience justifies a price premium. And you can talk as much shit as you like, but the market supports this.
People that love apple and hate Comcast seem hypocritical, no? Apple is trying to do similar things with the marketplace
I actually use apple products for most of my computing needs, but you just kind of bring it to a rediculous level of fandom.
Apple makes some things amazing simple and seamless and that is great. They also make other things very rigid so if it does not work with the way you want to work - it is amazingly grating and annoying. At the end of the day - I really like my Apple devices - they are premium products with premium prices - but I can not buy into their ecosystem completely - it is just not flexible enough for my lifestyle. I suspect that I will continue to use Apple devices - but most of them will not be my "daily drivers".
