You're right, never done videos, only audio. And admittedly not much. But without some sort of evidence I doubt that a high quality PC would take 1 minute and 37 seconds for something a Mac did in 14 seconds.
im really not too hip to the innerworkings beyond simple drive/memory swaps and hardware whatnot, could very well be isolated between the two for all i know, just kinda blew me away, i had always used pcs for lack of wanting to have to learn the apple os
The reason why the video rendering is so fast is how the OS is designed. I don't care if you built a PC with exactly the same components to a Tee, it cannot utilize that power. Until microsuck actually gets with the times, they can never be as fast as Macs in heavy file sized fields

I don't think you need to max every component in your computer 100% of the time to benefit. Clicking on a link in a browser and having the page load in 1-2 seconds instead of 10 makes me more productive. As brainiac points out, he maxes out his computer rendering video for seconds or minutes at a time. I'm sure he doesn't want to take your moronic advice and have less of a computer that doesn't do what he wants it to very fast. You're just a troll. You say stupid shit to get some sort of thrill from people calling you out on it. Your moronic posts imply it's a waste to have a car because you don't use it to its fullest when it's sitting in the driveway.
