Well, the fact that the Suns scord over 150 doesn't make them the most complete. The fact that though they are not perfect in every aspect of the game, they work very well with their strenghts and make alot of matchups all over the court. That is why I say they are the most complete. </div>I don't think you understand what the meaning of complete is. To me a complete team is one that has no noticeable weaknesses, or is not missing anything. To me the most complete team is the Spurs, who can do it all. They have offense, they have defense, they can run in the open court on the fast break if needed to, they can score down low with Tim Duncan, they have a pretty good bench. They don't seem to really be missing anything, that to me is a complete team, and the most complete team in the league. The Suns do not play defense, and if your missing something like a steady defense how can you be complete?

the Suns do play defense (marginal defense not great defense), but it is vastly overshadowed by their great offense. Besides, their high-powered offense can and does work as a method of defense. Teams do become run ragged because of the regularity that the Suns score with.

May be late, but I didn't want to read through this all.The Suns have really good man-to-man defenders, but don't play top team D.Raja Bell is a top defender, it may not show up in the stats, but he's like Bruce Bowen. He's a pest, and gets under peoples skin and stays on you like white on rice.Shawn Marion, IMO, is a top 5 defender in the league. He has it all, while showing up on the offensiuve end to. Most underrated player in the league, bar none.Amare Stoudemire is a great defender too, he just has to get his lateral quickness back. he already has his jumping back, or most of it.Diaw, he's an average defender, but he's not bad.Nash, he's just a bad defender haha.Overall, we play good D, but not as good as the teams known as 'defensive teams."At the end of the game, the team with the most points has the best defense."

Because we weren't saying the Suns, so you emphasized your point of complete to make it seem like the Suns. But really I don't buy your definition of complete at all. Like I said, a complete team is a team that focuses on both sides. The Suns don't do it enough and your statement of "their high powered = a method of defense" proves that they don't. Because that makes no sense. A team scores often and quickly has nothing to do with playing defense. This is basketball, that point does not fit with this sport.

To me, to be complete is like being whole. If your whole, your not missing anything. If your incomplete, your not whole, your missing something. So for a team to be complete, or whole, they have to be able to play both defense and offense. So like I said earlier, which you have made a better point for here, if your missing something like a steady defense like the Suns are I don't see how you can be a complete team.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I used to put the Spurs in that category, but they don't have much youth at all. Every time I see the Suns play, they are so in sync with each other that it's scary. They're pretty deep too. Look who took the game-winning shot against Chicago (Leandro Barbosa).Besides, every player in their starting lineup is top-five at their positions. But of course, I could be wrong. Is there anything you could add or take away from the Suns to make them better?</div><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The word "complete" was not a substitute for "perfect". "Complete" to me means that though they are not perfect, they have a clear style of play, and the entire team executes in sync with one another. "Complete" means that they play to their strangths, and do a damn good job at it. That's what "Complete" to me means.</div>The only thing similar between those two is the Suns play in sync. You only pointed out your definition in the third page after nobody said Suns.

The Mavs are the most complete team overall.Great offense, great defense, very deep bench, great coach...it's as simple as that. Now the Suns look like the team that's the most "insync"...at least when Nash is running the point.
I'm not going to be a homer on this topic. The suns do play defense but in the playoffs the game will slow down to Dallas's favor. Rebounding is also important but I don't think the suns will have that much success in a half court game.
