<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Jurassic:</div><div class="quote_post">Come on guys, ultimately this is not a big deal. Everyone pays $2 out of their taxes and you get a new stadium. However I realize that you are fighting the concept, that it should not be your job to pay for something that will profit someone else.</div> unfortunatly its not that simple. this goes back quite a bit with a grand-standing, ineffective city council that has blundered its way through the process and used the arena issue as a political platform to further their own agenda's without concern to the community they are supposed to be serving. add in the inaccurate public perception that the Maloofs are made of money (well certainly they must be if they own a vegas casino, right?) and why should we fund multi-millionares. most people dont understand how arena deals work. they dont understand the multi use concept and how a good arena benifits the entire community. and certainly dont understand that in this day and age, owners dont build arenas with their own money. they only use it on avarage from 50-60 times a year including playoff and pre-season games. should they pay for at least part of an arena their team plays in? of course. but when they only use the arena for 15-20% of the time, why should they be required to pay for 100% of the costs? just my .02 on it.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Billa_Bong:</div><div class="quote_post">Hell just change your team name, the Sacramento Hooters. You can have big boobed bimbos serving beer and chicken wings during the game while the jerseys are big boosting cleavage. I think you would get your rating to go thro the roof! </div> Now if that were to happen,I'd think Sacramento would have the Highest Attendace in the NBA peroid
