Arenas to opt-out next year (source)

Not to mention the other players on the team. Raef LaFrentz will be pulling in over $24 million over the next 2 years, Zach Randolph has 4 years left on his contract, making a total of roughly $62 million. They don't have the money to pay them, extend their young stars when they are eligible, and pay Arenas what he wants.
