"He got tangled up with Lamar," Coach Phil Jackson said a few minutes after Ariza left practice for X-rays at Centinela Hospital Medical Center.</div> Odom again? This is becoming a cruel joke. Kobe better stay away from Lamar's foot. </div> When I first read it, I thought it was some reporters cruel joke saying that it was Odom's foot.
HAHA, don't worry guys, it is a joke. It's just so friggin hard to believe. Deja vu, and I was telling people to watch out for the Lakers in the championship. Everyone's laughing at us now.

Gumby is reporting it over at CL. He was the man who reported the Ariza trade before it was announced, the Bynum being out 8 weeks before it was announced, and the Ariza foot break before it was announced. I wonder how this dude has so many connections.</div> I'm not sure who's foot he stepped on, but Odom was involved somehow in the play from the quote PJax gave. Maybe it happened like this, Odom and Ariza got tangled up and an off-balanced Ariza landed on Fisher's foot? I'm most frustrated these injuries keep occurring for us every time we build momentum and look like we're a legit title contender. We've become a MASH unit since the new year.
LA Times is now reporting it was Fisher and they removed the quote by PJax. They didn't even bother to write a retraction stating it was Odom's foot. They just re-wrote parts of the original article Pretty lame. Source: LA Times
this sucks so bad man. when i first read this i was..well i just couldnt beleive it, what bad luck we've already had with bynums injury, odom and kwame persisting to exist and luke walton still sucking, now ariza, a young gunner is injured for 2 months and we were at the top for a while. what a joke. the cruel joke the basketball gods have played on laker fans. god damn!
