Between crandc's hatred, and hasoos' lunacy, it only illustrates how insincere the importance of last night's "message" by the President was to partisan hacks like those two posters. I think both sides talk past each other. In the course of it, each side becomes desensitized to its own speech (after all, in their minds it's the truth) and the other side's speech appears exaggerated. Mostly, I think people just need to get over themselves. One of the beauties of the First Amendment is that we are free to offend each other, and I'll fight for someone's right to speak their mind no matter how much I disagree with it.
