We aren't even a top 5 PAC 12 team in my eyes.

No......I got that perfectly pegged. It starts with the HC, then the OC and then the DC. Don Pellum didn't let us down tonight and it would be a shame to blame him.

He was a damn good coach.

Coach Kelly made sure to be a players coach and inspired them to run through walls for him. Helfrich is a boosters coach and makes sure to motivate them with lack of playing time.

While they are closly nit, they are so completely different.

Is it possibly that our boosters got too crowned up over nothing?

No idea why Mariota doesn't take off more. He just sits in the pocket when there are open lanes to pick up yards. Then he holds the ball too long.

    Overall the coaching is shit.

Mark Helfrich and his coordinators should be gone after this season. I know it sounds spoiled to scoff at 9-10 win seasons but with this level of talent on the team.. We should be a lot better. Maybe uncle Phil can open up his pockets and buy a coach who can right the ship. Jon Gruden would be dope but highly unlikely.

Shit, I hate the guy but he is a great college coach. He basically is Pete Carroll... Hate to be playing against him but love to have him.

He would be a horrible fit actually. Too much into the power game. Ducks don't even use a fullback.

Carroll would be good though lol

My big two things I have to say will be:

    1. Loss is on me guys, Sly was 4-0 this year on game threads.

    2. Go Blazers, they and the Seahawks are the only things I have to look forward to for the rest of the year.

I love everyone so I'm positive we'll move past this but you called me a "Debbie - Downer" when I had real concerns and I made those concerns well known in advance and you asked if I was looking for a "Flame-War".

I still stand by my belief that helfrich sucks and has sucked. Can we just agree and move forward?

You can be right and still be a Debbie Downer. They aren't mutually exclusive. Hell, MIXUM was more right than most during the 2003-2007 years. He was still a Debbie Downer.

Just got back from a Dropkick Murphy concert, logged on the internet, and now I need several more drinks.

Inexcusable. 3 basic possibilities: Mariota is over-rated (not too likely), the entire coaching staff is having an acute attack of the stupids, or the players around Mariota are dogs. Take your pick - I just want to puke and forget I ever had any hope for this season.

Report came out that mariota was injured.
@rgduckfootball: Scott Frost said Mariota was not 100 percent tonight. Got hurt against Wazzu when he was sacked seven times.
