I don't get what Armon will learn from standing in the corner while his selfish teammates chuck threes after every pass.

Antoine Walker seems like the only player worth another try in the NBA. He's playing smart ball, and is controlled (seriously).

Jeez, I wonder how much Antoine Walker makes now? LOL Talk about a bonehead. I never liked that guy, and I have to admit I laughed when I found out he squandered his fortune. Yeah, he definitely lost some weight. But he still sucks.

BTW, this video interface/software >>>> league pass broadband.

And these announcers aren't too shabby either.

    Yeah, my bad.
And the video quality is great. If only the bootleg Blazers web casts were that good. Also agree on the announcers. They are doing the job and they aren't obnoxious. Clearly, they'll never make it in the big leagues. LOL

It looks like Armon may have a hard time taking minutes away from Jackson. Nice to see Seth Tarver is still in "The League." He looks pretty good at this level.

As I said in Summer League, he can't hit the broad side of a barn. He should never shoot. His passes are lethargic, uninspired, and worst of all, few. The Stampede just lost by 15 to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, a team that had lost 6 or 7 in a row.

I agree. Johnson reminds me of a Bayless wannabe PG.

    Seth Tarver had a decent stat night. 26:51 min playing, 7-10 FG, 0-1 3pt, 1-1 ft, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 turnover, and a total of 15pts.

It was only his first game on his new team. If he gets in a practice or two, maybe he'll realize that he's a star in this league, he'll stop trying to just fit in, and he'll take over with intensity. He's not a shooter, but he can drive for layups.

He thinks pass-first, which is good when you're surrounded by equals, but in the D-League, he needs to try to take over the team. The Blazer contact guy there who monitors him should tell him to get selfish. Mills did that and everyone praised his D-League stats.

5 games in and he's averaging 15pts/5.4reb/2.8ast on 64% shooting. He had a 22pts/7reb/5ast game last night on 11-16 shooting.

While dominating the D-League isn't too exciting, it at least reassures that he has a place in the NBA. Nice to see Armon playing well.

I'd like to see more assists and I'd like to know how his defense is looking. Thanks for the update, however.

You can watch D-League games for free on their website. Assists are hard to come by. When you can score, you score.

That hardly reassures anything. Guys average that all the time in the D league and never get called up.

His stats are held down by the presence of another good PG, Cedric Jackson. Hmm, every article has links.

    <click>

His prior game in Bismarck, ND against Chris Johnson started at 10:08 pm because the team couldn't get out of Denver due to weather. Doesn't give the attendance.

Not much happens in the Bismarck paper.

Someone walked out of the Bismarck Sears with a 52" TV. Wonder what the comments say.

An argument over whether white people commit more crimes than Indians.

Okay, that killed a half-hour. Back to the S2 board.

I watched him play last night. All I can safely say is that he was the best player on the floor ... but he was almost always driving to his left (dominant hand) and nobody seemed all that interested in trying to force him right. Beyond the fact that he played with a nice pace and was decisive with the ball, I truly have no idea how what I saw translates back to the NBA.
