Accept a suspension for the remainder of the season and be done with it. They simply cannot allow Braun to do so without also giving Arod the same option. I expect an announcement concerning Arod's suspension very soon.

Mess, I think it depends on what mlb has on a-rod who could have been dumb enough to get caught interfering with an acive investigation by buying and destroying records, etc. I think if a-rod could have bargained for just the rest of the season a-rod would have done that already. I think he is going for the rest of this season and next just to avoid the lifetime ban

...no, I'm pretty sure if you're suspended under these circumstances, it is without pay.

I think they have more on A-Rod, so it would be more severe...

A lot of people thought that investigating the biogenesis story was a big joke. Well the joke was on them. I don't know if we'll ever find out what was uncovered but if the evidence found can make those listed cut deals or else, there was some serious dirt dug up. Apparently more bad apples will be shook from the tree to include old buddy A-rod. I understand they have more on him than others so I hope the punishment fits the crime to a point that he never again wears pinstripes.

I could be wrong (which would be most unusual) but I believe that for it to be without pay, he would have to be suspended while in rehab which technically he completed as of Saturday.

Now does without pay also mean that it comes off the payroll?
