That quote and several others paraphrased your writing here. You've been making this point for more than a year.

What is he specifically apologizing for? As stated, he's sorry for getting caught. He need to come clean, what he was taking and when. How he his it before being caught (both times). How the apology tour of 2009 was a sham, etc. Plus all the items other here have noted....tarnishing the Yankee brand, dishonoring the legacy of the game, etc.

It doesn't matter if it will be accepted, that's not the point. People need to see him feel the consequences of his actions.

I think its a given at this point that 2001-2003 (Texas Rangers) was really not the only years he cheated. And that's why IMO the bonus checks should not be allowed. Because without the PEDs he'd be no where near the milestones he's currently at.

I don't care to see A-Roid on any MLB field again, and if he hit 30 hr's, which we know that will NEVER HAPPEN, I for one would not so much as clap, rather boo til my vocal chords tore.....I'd sit in my seat, and try to get a dugout seat, sneak in a bottle and shatter it over his head. The jail time, would be more than worth it, I doubt the Yanx would press charges, only MLB. But then the post jail time, would be more than worth it, with all the News Channels and talk show invites....which could pay off nice and pretty. Don't get me wrong, my motto for 30 years has been: "let compassion be your moral compass, through this chaotic fkd up world." But with A-Roid, I ran out of sympathy after his 03 debacle.

His handwritten apology reminds me of some shit I've seen in grade school. But then Alex's mind is still in grade school.

I've never wanted on athlete to fail so much as Alex in my life. He's fkd over every Sports Fan, Team, other Athletes while making a mockery out of the game we love the most.

I never wish ill on anyone other than Alex. I don't buy his charades prior and now asking for forgiveness, once a cheat always a cheat, yet he proved that much right, one too many times.

The poll mentioned earlier, shows what North or South Dakota, Vermont, Alabama ( I thought my boys new better in the Crimson Tide/War Eagle state), and Rhode Island vote in favor of alex, while 64% have no empathy sympathy for the repetitious lying bastage...!

What a total joke. He better play his ass off and then maybe I will begin to forgive him and that is a big maybe.

Honestly, I don't think A-Roid will see but a couple million of that contract, not when he can't make it out of ST. Pull down the Insurance Contract, and let him sell pencils and apples, at Yankee Stadium, OUTSIDE the entrances. On 2nd thought no to the apples, the non-trustworthy bastard, would poison them, that's how he really feels about Yank Fans.

I can't forgive him again, not this time, I did one too many times already, and all he did was burn all Baseball Fans. His lies, distortions, bribes, death threats, obstruction of Justice, should of landed him in Prison, instead of the Bronx Zoo....just my 2 cents. I'm adding a penny now for inflation....so it will be 3 cents in any future Post.

Glad to see your back on a regular basis Jill...!

    I'm a pedantic pessimist's puppet predicting 80 wins.

I can't wait to see the sheep cheer for him. I hope he rakes. It's sill to watch other fan bases fawn all over the Ortiz' and Brauns and are then ready to burn Arod at the stake as if he's a murderer.

By the way, love him or hate him, you can't argue with Arod's penmanship.
