...back to Chapman...this is the psyche of the guy we just resigned. He's about to receive $80+ Million, and he's about to receive a WS Ring, but for some unknown reason he's now second guessing the way in which Maddon used him in the WS in order to make it possible for him to become a WS Champion. http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/...cago-cubs-manager-joe-maddon-misused-playoffs ...on one hand he says he doesn't like the way he was used, but he then goes on to say that his job is to be ready whenever the coach calls on him to pitch...well, which is it, Aroldis?...and why did you feel the need to shoot your mouth off about it in the first place?....just shut up and pitch.
As far as I'm concerned Chapman is a God Dam Flake, Should not have gotten him in the first place, then use him as a trade chip OK. The fact that the Cubs had him on their WC Team and showed little interest in keeping him should have sent a message. But old checkbook went out and signed him so there we are right back to square one. I have a feeling the Yankees got porked in the ass dry and will come to regret this move.
