LeBron's an interesting case because in the 2000s, we saw the rosters expand from 12 to 15, so (by facing their teams; I doubt they did any on-court/off-court tracking) he's faced 25% more players per year than Kareem did.

 

Many of those he “faced” were sitting on a bench.

 

Oh certainly. I don’t care about that number much at all. But it is neat to see the continuity over just five players (it was the fewest I could get to go that far back without major gaps)

 

Now do it with players that were teammates. Who’s the oldest vet LeBron played with in his first few years?

 

looks like Scott Williams was a 14 year vet teammate during LeBron’s second season in Cleveland.

 

Yeah I’m not in a position to do that search but I’d love to see how many it takes to go all the way back with teammates
