CP3 is one of the best free throw defenders in the game though...

...so, who was guarding CP3 most of the game anyway?! :dunno:

So will the Jazz blow it up….LIKE THEY SHOULD, or run a flawed roster back, killing players value, like Olshey did year after year?

I really don’t care about that. That’s like the Cavs refusing to take LeBron back because he made a choice they didn’t like. Plus, I put more blame on the GM for not trading him when it was clear LMA was going to leave.

    I just don’t think he’s a helpful player.

CJ is certainly the better offensive player but I can’t help but think Hart is a bit closer to CJ than you (or I) thought.

    Arguably a better passer.
    Better rebounder.
    Better defender.

And MAJOR *if* he shoots the 3 ball at 37% like he did with the Blazers (on volume) then that’s a pretty good player.

It’s more likely that D Mitch requests a trade than anyone on the Blazers, so they might be saved from the perpetual run it back outcome.

Yes if the rumors are true that the two "stars" don't get along. It's not like Mitchell and Gobert are Kobe and Shaq where there is so much talent they can overcome the sudden lack of chemistry.

Interesting stat line for the Jazz centers last night. Between Gobert and Whitehead.....zero assists, zero steals, zero turnovers, zero blocks. ( Each with 1 offensive rebound) Everything went through Conley and Mitchell.

They pay Rudy Super Star bucks but he's not a super star, imo. If he was he'd couple his D with a lethal offensive game and take over games like last night. He should have dominated the Mav's last night.

I'd love Gobert on the Blazers, if the Blazers didn't use him the way the Jazz do AND he was making about half of what he is.

I imagine he would have a lethal offensive game if paired with a Chris Paul type. Gobert's only real move is the 'oop, which he's absolutely elite at, but that requires a consistently willing setup man. With today's perimeter-oriented bigs, I'm not sure there are many who could stop that.
