    How many extra wins would that equate to, though? Enough to justify letting a guy go who either could be a centerpiece-type player when Dame is getting set to retire or who almost certainly would bring you more in trade return at that time if you were tearing it down and rebuilding again?

    So Dame is old and Westbrook is a former MVP so Blazers should make this thread?!?

    But once on the Lakers Dame is no longer old and the Lakers are suddenly amazing.

    Get rid of "Maybe" and make it happen. Post it into existence. We need a merciful May for sure.

    I think "Machiavellian May" is the way to go. All of our subterfuge of the system pays off.
