But if we win, we get HCA anyway and if OKC loses and NO and Denver win, we play Denver in first round
They would be on pace for 70 wins with the form from the second half of season. 29-5 since they started the run, absolutely remarkable and they have the best defense in the league by large margin. A part of me wants them to finish 3rd above us so they can play Warriors in the second round. Warriors would be so scared going into these games (and I think Warriors with Curry are a worse match up for us than Rockets).
I know it is morally imperative to hate the L*kers but this video is a must-watch: http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...rs-scores-19-points-nba-debut-decade-g-league
That is really stinkin' cool. I watched a lot of his d-league games, and am happy he got to have that moment. Can't even imagine how that feels!
On the one hand, that's really nice, and a great idea for meaningless games. On the other: "Hey! Your big break finally came! You're in the NBA! FOR ONE MEANINGLESS GAME." I think it's obviously more positive than not, but it's a bit bittersweet.
Being a "good dude" doesn't make you: A good defender A good ballhandler A good basketball player period A player who is earning his contract A player who I want on my favorite team And it's not hate, it's reality. Stop throwing the hate word around so easily. You're confusing folks.
