    Hello darkness, my old friend
I don't think either will be a prime Kevin Love, but 75-80% of his production at a fraction of the cost I think is a reasonable expectation for the #10 pick in a loaded draft, with Swanigan a second bite at the apple who's performed well early.

I am willing to make the huge sacrifice of having Evan Turner sit.

Tony Allen's game has slipped quite a bit. He played like a 35 year old man last year. Don't really want to see how he plays when he is 36.

LA and Spurs "stuck" with each other? You realize they are going to still win 65 games again this year. I wouldn't mind being "stuck" with that type of PF.

I'll take the under on 65 games, and I'm a Spurs believer. And Aldridge has slipped quite a lot. I'd take a prime Aldridge, but the current Aldridge is paid well more than he's worth. There's a reason the Spurs were reportedly hoping to find a new home for him (prior to the Kyrie Irving development).

Yeah, he sure stuck it to us...

And no, they're not winning even 60 games this season.

Allegedly (per Woj, so it's basically fact), the Cavs are finding that the market for Kyrie is much cooler than they expected. LA may well be the best return they're gonna get for him.

I still think that eventually Phoenix ends up the trade partner. Cleveland apparently wants Bledsoe, Josh Jackson and the 1-7 protected pick from Miami in 2018. Phoenix wants to send Bledsoe, Bender and Miami's unprotected 2021 first-round pick.

That's a significant value gap, but not an insurmountable one, IMO. I think they'll find a package to agree on.

I wouldn't trade Josh Jackson for Kyrie. Fuck that.

I don't know how valuable Jackson will be if he doesn't learn to shoot. He can still be good if he fulfills his defensive potential and proves to be a good slasher, but stardom would be difficult without a good outside shot (unless he becomes Giannis, but there's only one Giannis). There is a decent amount of risk with him, IMO.

I don't think NYK has any need for Love during their youth movement. I think the general assumption is that they would prefer a package of Moe, Vonleh, Ed, and picks over a soon to be 30 yr old Love. At least that's what I'm hoping.
