    While James has made it clear that he won’t deliberate his uncertain future until the Cavs’ season is complete, there is strong belief in Rockets circles that they’ll have a legitimate shot at landing the four-time MVP this summer. Rival executives also believe the Rockets will have a real chance. And once you really look at it, when you get past all the noise about the Lakers and even the compelling case for the up-and-coming Philadelphia 76ers, it makes all sorts of sense.

    I remember that a lot of people in the forum where saying Ben Simmons was going to have a tough time in the NBA because he couldn't shoot.

    It would make sense if not for cap space. They would have to gut their roster to get him there, and only via opt-in-and-trade like Chris Paul last Summer. They would need to send significant salaries back and they could only do that by sending Anderson (who Cavs will not want), Ariza AND Gordon. Problem is, why would Cavaliers even want anything to do with that?

    I think Rockets with LeBron would be champions.

    James is UFA. HE could sign for the MLE. Money shouldn't play a role in that case. James earned a lot of money in his career
