I'm not, but thanks for the nod. I just know two things I'd never draft

I know one of them (of course we all do) but are you saying the other applies to Swanigan (whatever that other one may be)?

Now this I partly agree with. Still worth giving him props when it happens. I wanted Bell but Swanigan was my 2nd pick (Kuzma was not even on my radar. That guy has made something of himself, props to him). Are you saying Swanigan would have done the same in that system? Maybe close but not the same.

I doubt because Swanigan is not athletics/quick enough to play for the Warriors. He doesn't fit in the System. He would be the perfekt guy for the Grizzlies with their Grid and Grind System, but not for the Warriors

So you said it is solely because of the system. But they also have to have the right players to fit their system. Draft pick Kevon Looney didn't blow up for them.

Nope. I would not have drafted Swanigan though. I am a big believer in guarding multiple positions. He is a bit slow footed to be that guy. Not saying he can't, or hasn't been valuable.

My other no-no is players from Syracuse

I was just lumping them together. My bad. Now a WABC from Syracuse would be crazy!

Well I know that you said many times that you and others you talked to thought that Bell was a legitimate late first rounder and that Portland should draft him.

This week I’ve read that about Draymond, Klay and Bell. At some point you just have to admit they are all really good players.

There's a very good reason that you all don't get paid to do what I do.

We aren't the ones who missed out on him, we traded up purely to get Collins and wouldn't have traded up for anyone else. Kings missed the trick because by taking Mitchell at 10 they would have sorted their backcourt for the next decade. They traded down instead and got two players who have not impressed.

Just seen that Jazz are good again. 12-11 and I think they have a good chance to still make playoffs. Rubio has been playing really well, I like how their roster now has no clear star but is more built around team effort.

Long term they could be better off getting their pick this year to get another young piece to play with Mitchell and Gobert but in Mitchell they basically already have a player who can fill the void that Hayward left long term. He can do everything - shoots well, defends, has great playmaking skills.
