Yeah, but would he rather work in LA or Portland? Wasn't there talk about how Olshey prefers big city glamor?
He left LA for Portland...that's what I've seen....he's from New York.....seems the Knicks would be his dream job but he's chosen Portland. The Lakers have crumbled away just like the Knicks...big city is overrated these days....Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles....all struggling to contend.
True, but I think that's because he saw the potential for promotion to a GM spot. I'm sure he'd rather be a GM in a smaller town than something less in a big city. That said, I doubt LA will select him and it wouldn't really bother me if he left. Also, the supposed appeal of a bigger city wouldn't be that it's easier to contend--just that it's nicer to live in, if you prefer the big city environment.
Pistons listening to offers for Drummond. I'd make a run and be a fucking matchup nightmare for the small teams. If I was LAL, I'd already have offered Ingram and Russell with picks
Lakers will look to move Williams probably as he's about 32...he'll want to go to a contender I'd think
Boy that was quick for Magic to cut throat someone to get control of the Lakers. But if he as good with his new job as he was coach then Lakers is in trouble.
Makes no sense. Ingram and Russell are supposed to be their future. You surround Drummond with the rest of that rotation and they are still awful. They have to keep their young players.
