Davis and Cousins are hardly dominating Nene and Anderson. I'd expect them to control the paint and get every board. But in the first 6 mins the Rockets are out rebounding the Pels 5-3
Cousins looks like he wants this to be a fit and is making all the right plays though. I think they will figure everything out and be a dominant force.
Cousins would have been a fantastic fit for our system. I just think the Damon Stoudamire rule applies and there is no way that Cousins wants to play here. Neil knowing this probably showed no interest in trading for the big man. I think Cousins will stay in NO, and those theories about CP3 returning to the Pelicans make a lot of sense.
Pels are so weak at the 2-3 now though. They would probably love to have Harkless or Aminu. They don't have anything we want though.
Cousins still up to his same BS. Missing plays because he's upset over a call on the other end and extremely slow to get back.
That's the second time Cousins has scored an own basket tonight. Maybe someone should remind him that he is indeed a Pelican.
Laugh all you want, but he's 4-5 for 10 pts in 7 minutes with a +/- of +11, and the Kings are winning by 8.
I wasn't being entirely sarcastic. He's looked great finishing tonight, kind of like Tyreke in his early years in SAC.
I guess Denver traded us a first round pick because they would rather not play Plumlee than not play Nurkic...
I was surprised that Skal out rebounded him on that put back. Mase didn't even try to get off the ground.
Everyone seems to be much happier in SAC without Cousins there. It's like they can have fun playing basketball again.
