Down 6 game with thre remaining games against OKC and I personally believe we're the better team. 7th seed is very much reachable. Just think. We're a Plumlee layup and Turner three from being 24-26 and being only 4 games back. There's a lot of basketball left to be played. Sunday afternoon's game is huge.

Only 14 of our remaining 32 games are against teams with +0.500 records. This includes Spurs (x2), Jazz (x3), OKC (x3), Atlanta (x2), Rockets, Washington, Celtics, and Raptors.
We also get 17 home games.

REPORT: JIMMY BUTLER WARNING BULLS PLAYERS OF ‘SPYING’ IN LOCKER ROOM

drama surrounding the Bulls organization continues to unfold and a new report surrounding Jimmy Butler speaks to mistrust in the locker room and a strained relationship between player and management.

According to The Chicago Sun-Times, Butler has warned players not to talk around certain assistant coaches if they don’t want what they are saying to get back to GM Gar Forman.

    From The Chicago Sun-Times:

Butler and other Bulls have had issues with the “spying’’ that goes on in the locker room. He warned new players that if they didn’t want Forman to hear criticism, they shouldn’t talk in front of certain assistant coaches such as Randy Brown.

The belief is that the Bulls love to gather as much ammunition as they can on players, so they can win the news conference when the breakup comes, whether it’s a trade or free agency.

“They did it with [Luol Deng], and they did it with [Joakim Noah] and Derrick [Rose],’’ a source said. “That’s how they operate.’’

The report also states that the issues between Butler and the front office date back to last spring when stories came out that accused Butler of being a “diva:”

Forget the contract stuff. Last May, Butler was irate after stories leaked out that claimed he had turned into a diva, and he believes the leaks came from the front office.

Butler thought Forman was a guy who “only shows loyalty to the top of the pyramid,’’ a source said then.

He addressed the issue in October, saying, “Am I a diva? I don’t call it that. My will to win rubs people the wrong way sometimes. I can blame it on that but won’t apologize for it. Never will.’’

Butler, however, describes his relationship with Forman as “very professional:”

“We talk like men if I have a problem; if they have a problem, we talk like we’re supposed to,’’ Butler said. “I think it’s very professional.’’

Despite the problems, the Bulls blew out the Thunder last night behind 28 points from Butler.

What a coincidence. When owner Jerry Reinsdorf's GM was Jerry Krause, the two famously feuded with Jordan/Pippen/Phil Jackson, who would say things to the media about management. Butler's right. It all starts at the top.

Interesting trade. Was Plumlee a bust for the Bucks? Because they are not getting much in return. What is their next move? they just re-signed him this summer....

Two drafts ago the two players I wanted - the Knicks landed both.

I spammed S2 about Hernangomez and he's been killing it lately:

Maybe by year SEVEN MyLo will show this kind of feel.

The player you should REALLY be tooting your horn over is Jokic. You were boosting him before anyone else had ever heard of him, and now he's maybe the best young PF in the game.

I was on the Jokic bandwagon since I saw him play in the Nike Hoop Summit in Portland. His footwork and feel for the game even then was like an NBA vet.

I saw the same thing in Hernangomez, but he's not nearly the passer of Jokic.

Jokic is a lot like a young (better scoring) Divac. Hernangomez is Marc Gasol-lite.

Love me some Wessy-Wes, but they chose the wrong Mav. They should send Seth Curry. He's shooting .421 from 3-point range - the exact same 3FG% as his older brother. I'd love to see a Curry brother shootout in the 3-point contest.

CP3 really has one of the biggest impacts for his team in the NBA. The clippers look like trash.

Rockets led the Hawks by 19 at home with 9 minutes to play and....lost. Tim Hardaway Jr looked like LeBron.

They have lost 5 of their last 7 and 9 of their next 10 games are against playoff teams.

This stretch will likely cost them HCA, and they could potentially fall all the way to the 7th seed by March 1.
