    Much ado about nothing. The fan wasn't acting like Rick Flair and the fan did not approach Westbrook. The fan stepped on the court, after the buzzer, which he should not have done, but he didn't charge Westbrook, or seek him out. He was where he shouldn't have been and Russ walked into him, was surprised to see him there and grabbed a handful of man boob. End of story. This wasn't a Malice at the Palace II situation.



    The fan should not have stepped on the court and security arrived too late, but what are there, like twenty security personnel surrounding the court and around 300 courtside seats? They can't physically restrain every spectator. Nor can they anticipate which asshat will set foot on the court.

    Wrong place, wrong time. He shouldn't have been on the court, and if Russ hadn't been retrieving the ball (guess he REALLY wanted that last rebound to get his triple double), there wouldn't have been any "confrontation".

    The NBA will deal with it. Westbrook should not face any fines or penalties. The fan may, however, lose his season tickets:

    According to the NBA fan code of conduct, fans “attempting to enter the court … will be subject to ejection without refund and revocation of season tickets and may also be in violation of city ordinances resulting in possible arrest and prosecution.”

    NOP (27-23) @ OKC (30-22) tonight.

    Who are we cheering for?

    A POR win coupled with an OKC loss puts us at 5th in the West, a half game ahead of OKC.

    A POR loss coupled with a NOP win puts us just a half game ahead of NOP in the 6th seed.

    The Pelicans. If Portland can't manage to stay ahead of a crippled Pelicans team, they have bigger issues than seeding, IMO.

    Yeah, I'll be rooting for the Pels, too. Mostly just because I love watching OKC lose. Always have, always will.

    So it looks like the Blazers had a Nationally Televised game Feb 9th. On ESPN.
    That game will no longer be covered Nationally

    I will have to look that up. I could watch more Blazers games when living in AZ than I can her 45 miles away from Portland. I tried Comcast (Xfinity) for one month before everyones warning of them trying to screw you came true.
